Labyrinth Ladies Fall Short In Thrilling Encounter Against MONENE FC

In a gripping league encounter at Klipgat on 16 August 2025, Labyrinth Football Club Ladies faced MONENE FC, ultimately succumbing to a narrow 4-3 defeat. The match, which kicked off at 3:00pm, showcased a rollercoaster of emotions as both teams battled fiercely for supremacy.

Labyrinth lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for attacking flair. Thibathiba Thebe took her place in goal, shielded by a back four comprising Kgwebane Elizabeth and Nhlayakgosi Lebogang as right and left defenders, respectively, with Oretshwanetse Phiri and Mushuku Angeline occupying the central defensive roles.
