Neutral league match
On 25 October 2025, Pro Shottas U15 faced FM Four Pillars Ballers in a league neutral match at the BFA Technical Center, kicking off at 10:45am. The 70-minute encounter ended in a 1-0 defeat for Pro Shottas, decided by an unfortunate own goal in the second half.
Pro Shottas lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, aiming to balance defensive solidity with attacking creativity. Christopher Palmer guarded the goal, supported by a back four consisting of Elijah Jacob at right back, Micah James and Keiji Miller as central defenders, and Shakobi Jordan on the left. In midfield, Ben Hutton and Tye Gittens operated as the double pivot, tasked with breaking up play and distributing the ball forward. Ahead of them, Dominic Pererra took up the right attacking midfield role, Kaleb Catwell played centrally behind the lone striker, and C’jae Nichols occupied the left attacking midfield position. Leading the line was Kevio Bellamy, expected to spearhead attacks and provide a focal point in the final third. On the bench, Dylan Boucaud, Zayne Galt, Xavier Holder, and Rajae Holder were named as substitutes.
The first half was a cagey affair with both sides probing but unable to break the deadlock. Pro Shottas showed glimpses of their attacking intent, particularly through the wide areas, but FM Four Pillars Ballers remained disciplined and compact. The half concluded at 35 minutes, with neither team able to find a breakthrough.
Pro Shottas’ striker Kevio Bellamy was shown a yellow card for a bad tackle, a caution that would remind him to temper his aggression in the second period.
The second half saw tactical changes from Pro Shottas as they sought to inject fresh impetus. At the 50-minute mark, two substitutions were made simultaneously: Dylan Boucaud replaced right back Elijah Jacob, while Zayne Galt came on for right attacking midfielder Dominic Pererra. These changes indicated a shift in approach, possibly to shore up the defence and add dynamism in attack.
Shortly after, at 54 minutes, the decisive moment arrived in unfortunate fashion. An own goal from FM Four Pillars Ballers gifted the visitors a close-range strike, putting them ahead against the run of play. The goal proved to be the only one of the match and ultimately the difference between the teams.
Pro Shottas continued to adjust their personnel, with Xavier Holder coming on for central midfielder Ben Hutton at the same 54-minute mark, a tactical substitution aimed at refreshing the midfield engine room.
As the match wore on, Pro Shottas were forced into a further change due to injury. At 68 minutes, Rajae Holder replaced central attacking midfielder Kaleb Catwell, who had to leave the field prematurely. This substitution disrupted the attacking rhythm but showed the squad’s depth and readiness to adapt.
Despite their efforts to find an equaliser, Pro Shottas were unable to break down FM Four Pillars Ballers’ defensive resilience. The match ended 1-0 in favour of Four Pillars, with the own goal proving a cruel twist for Pro Shottas.
Overall, Pro Shottas displayed organisation and intent throughout the match, but the narrow margin and the timing of the own goal ultimately dictated the outcome. The tactical substitutions reflected a team striving to regain control and chase the game, yet the FM Four Pillars Ballers held firm to secure the vital three points.
