Neutral league match

On 11 October 2025, Pro Shottas U15 welcomed Paradise to Parkinson Field for a league neutral match kicking off at 9:00am. The 70-minute contest saw Pro Shottas run out convincing 7-1 winners in a commanding display of attacking football.

Pro Shottas lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, deploying Christopher Palmer in goal behind a back four of Dylan Boucaud at right back, Micah James and Zayne Galt as central defenders, and Ben Hutton at left back. The midfield double pivot featured Raiden Lee and Tye Gittens centrally, tasked with both defensive duties and linking play. Ahead of them, the attacking trio consisted of Dominic Pererra on the right wing, Kaleb Catwell in the central attacking midfield role, and Xavier Holder on the left flank. Leading the line was striker Kevio Bellamy, expected to spearhead the attack and convert chances. The substitutes bench included Samuel Campion, C’jae Nichols, Zefan Scott, Aries Payne, and Jaaziel Codogan.

The match burst into life early as Pro Shottas took the lead in the 7th minute. Kevio Bellamy provided a precise assist to Kaleb Catwell, who finished clinically to open the scoring. Paradise struggled to contain the hosts’ fluid attacking movements as Pro Shottas continued to press forward.

In the 23rd minute, Raiden Lee’s vision and passing ability shone through with a well-weighted assist to Dominic Pererra, who doubled the lead with a composed finish. The early dominance was clear as Pro Shottas controlled possession and dictated the tempo.

Disaster struck for Pro Shottas in the 27th minute when Xavier Holder was forced off injured, making way for substitute C’jae Nichols. Despite the setback, the team’s momentum was undeterred.

The first half concluded at the 35-minute mark with Pro Shottas firmly in control. Just after the break, in the 36th minute, Dominic Pererra turned provider, setting up Kevio Bellamy who found the net to extend the lead to 3-0.

The introduction of C’jae Nichols proved inspired as he quickly made an impact. In the 40th minute, he scored his first goal of the match, assisted by Tye Gittens, showcasing excellent link-up play between midfield and attack. Nichols then struck again five minutes later, doubling his tally before the half-time whistle.

Tactical changes saw Zefan Scott replace the tiring Kevio Bellamy in the 49th minute. Scott wasted no time making his mark, scoring in the 53rd minute to further increase the advantage.

C’jae Nichols continued his prolific form by netting his third goal in the 55th minute, again assisted by Tye Gittens, who demonstrated his creative influence throughout the match.

Further tactical substitutions followed in the 59th minute with Aries Payne coming on for Dominic Pererra and Jaaziel Codogan replacing Dylan Boucaud, both moves designed to maintain intensity and control.

Paradise managed to pull a goal back in the 68th minute, but it was a mere consolation in the face of Pro Shottas’ overwhelming superiority.

Raiden Lee’s midfield mastery, C’jae Nichols’ hat-trick, Tye Gittens’ creativity, and Dominic Pererra’s attacking contributions earned them the players of the match accolades. Pro Shottas’ clinical finishing and tactical flexibility ensured a comprehensive 7-1 victory, leaving Paradise with plenty to ponder.
