The Bethanie Sports Ground was the venue for a one-sided league encounter on 2nd August 2025, where Labyrinth Football Club Ladies faced off against the formidable Spanish Eagles. The match kicked off at 3:00pm and concluded with a staggering scoreline of 9-1 in favour of the Eagles, highlighting the gulf in class between the two sides.
Labyrinth FC Ladies lined up in a 4-3-3 formation, designed to provide a solid defensive base while allowing for attacking width. However, the Eagles continued their onslaught, scoring their sixth goal within two minutes of the restart in the 47th minute.
Despite the overwhelming pressure, Labyrinth FC Ladies managed to find a glimmer of hope in the 63rd minute when Ditau Letlhogonolo scored, bringing the score to 6-1. However, the Eagles responded swiftly, netting their seventh goal in the 70th minute, further extending their lead.
