The Leighton & District Sunday League is an amateur football league based in the Leighton Buzzard area of Bedfordshire, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has 40 teams competing in four divisions. The league is affiliated to the Bedfordshire County Football Association and is eligible to enter teams into the FA Sunday Cup.
The Leighton & District Sunday League was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season of the league consisted of just 10 teams, but the league has since grown to its current size of 40 teams. The league has been won by a number of different teams over the years, with the most successful team being Beecroft Community Centre, who have won the league title 10 times.
The league has been affiliated to the Bedfordshire County Football Association since 1923. This affiliation allows the league's teams to enter the FA Sunday Cup, which is the national cup competition for amateur Sunday league teams.
