KYL North - Fisher (A)

Afternoon boys,

Please find attached our report from the Fisher Game.

Chaps very tough one to take yesterday & cannot help but feel deflated as when playing top of the league to arrive with a bare 11 with not much balance really did tie our hands from min 1.

Due to personnel unavailable we tried to set up slightly differently to what we have done in previous games and sit in & hit Fisher on the break but if I’m totally honest I was very tough with no natural outlet’s on the break when we did regain possession & we spent large periods of the first half in our own half, having said that although Fisher went 3-0 up I don’t think they blew us away and we were more than competitive but as I keep going back to with so many square pegs in round holes it was really tough for you boys & I was extremely proud of your application & endevour throughout, it was not lost on me or Beckham.

The second half I felt we dominated despite tiring legs & we took the shackles off! We created chances & ended up winning the second half 1-0 with a wonderful free kick from you Theo, another outstanding display, keep it up.

I also want to give Oscar a well done on his debut, I thought you was assured and brought real confidence to the back 4, well done.

I’ll finish by saying to everyone as a group, we need full commitment chaps if we want to enjoy good days in the KYL, we are very close to building a very good run of momentum but this only comes by having a regular consistent squad available & we need everyone on board to be successful this season.

Big game against Cray next week where we must pick up 3 points.
