Tiki Taka Dortmund travelled to Aspull Junior’s FC on the 11th October 2025 for a 9:00am kick-off in a league away fixture against Aspull Juniors Arrows. The match lasted 70 minutes plus added time, with Dortmund running out convincing 8-2 winners in an emphatic display of attacking football.
Deploying a classic 4-3-3 formation, Tiki Taka Dortmund lined up with Kamsy Anajemba in goal, protected by a back four of Brajan Staszkowicz at right back, Archie Hunt and Lawrence Nwakamma as central defenders, and Nikita Velicka on the left. The midfield trio consisted of Kai McCaughtrie on the right, Zac Leach centrally, and Zac Humphries-Deveney on the left. Up front, the attacking trio featured Sonic Leung on the right wing, Noah Rule leading the line as striker, and Yasin Mohammed on the left wing. This setup promised width and creativity from the flanks, midfield control, and a potent strike force. The substitutes available were Amr Moustafa, Andrew-Franz Nkemka, Favour Ajumobi, Finley Barlow, and Oscar Manders.
The match began with early attempts from Kai McCaughtrie, who twice fired wide in the 5th and 6th minutes, signalling Dortmund’s intent to press high and create chances from the right midfield. Sonic Leung tested the Aspull keeper after a good run down the right side with a shot saved in the 9th minute. Kai McCaughtrie opened the scoring in the 10th minute, slotting home a close-range finish with his right foot after a precise assist from Sonic. The momentum continued immediately as Noah Rule doubled the lead a few minutes later, calmly finishing inside the box from a short pass by Kai.
Brajan Staszkowicz showed defensive alertness with an interception in the 12th minute, that prevented Aspull from creating a chance. Zac Humphries-Deveney then delivered a through ball in the 14th minute, creating an opportunity for Yasin Mohammed, whose shot was saved. Lawrence Nwakamma made a good interception in the 15th minute to prevent a chance on goal for Aspull. Yasin continued to press and create chances out wide with two more attempts, one saved at 17 minutes and another hitting the post at 19 minutes, demonstrating Dortmund’s attacking pressure from the left wing.
A flurry of substitutions followed at the 21st minute mark, with Amr Moustafa replacing Zac Leach in central midfield, Andrew-Franz Nkemka coming on for striker Noah Rule, Favour Ajumobi replacing right forward Sonic Leung, Finley Barlow taking over from left forward Yasin Mohammed, and Oscar Manders coming on for left defender Nikita Velicka. These changes injected fresh legs and tactical adjustments early in the contest.
Brajan Staszkowicz made a crucial tackle at the 30th minute to prevent a chance, maintaining Dortmund’s defensive solidity. The first half concluded at 35 minutes, with Dortmund comfortably ahead by 2 goals and showing some good fluid passing from the team.

Noah Rule had a shot saved by the keeper in the 69th minute before Sonic Leung found the net in the 70th minute, completing his brace with a low right-footed shot inside the box, with the assistant coming from Kai McCaughtrie. Dortmund saved their best goal for last as a great piece of team passing and play resulted in a goal in the 71st minute, with Noah calmly chipping the keeper from close range after a great team move and cross by Favour Ajumobi.
