Tiki Taka Dortmund hosted top of the league Bolton United F.C, at St James's High School in a league fixture that kicked off at 10:30am. The home side emerged victorious with a 2-0 scoreline after 70 minutes of competitive football, maintaining their strong start to the season.

Tiki Taka Dortmund lined up in a classic 4-3-3 formation, deploying Kamsy Anajemba in goal. The defensive line consisted of Brajan Staszkowicz at right back, Archie Hunt and Lawrence Nwakamma as central defenders, and Nikita Velicka on the left. The midfield trio featured Kai McCaughtrie on the right, Zac Leach centrally, and Zac Humphries-Deveney on the left. Up front, the attacking trio was made up of Sonic Leung on the right wing, Noah Rule leading the line as striker, and Yasin Mohammed on the left wing. The substitutes available were Nathen Platt, Favour Ajumobi, Amr Moustafa, Ayo ., Finley Barlow, Andrew-Franz Nkemka, Kon Aney, and Oscar Manders.

The game saw a flurry of substitutions early on, with Nathen Platt replacing Zac Leach, Favour Ajumobi coming on for Noah Rule, and Amr Moustafa taking over from Sonic Leung between the 16th and 17th minutes. Despite these changes, Tiki Taka Dortmund’s defensive discipline remained intact as Archie Hunt intercepted a Bolton attack in the 21st minute. Lawrence Nwakamma continued to demonstrate his defensive prowess, blocking another Bolton chance in the 30th minute. The first half concluded at the 35th minute mark, with Tiki Taka Dortmund probably lucky to go into half time level after a strong first half display by Bolton United. The second half began with more changes as Kon Aney, Noah Rule, and Sonic Leung returned to the pitch, replacing Archie Hunt, Favour Ajumobi, and Amr Moustafa respectively.

A tense moment arose in the 39th minute when Noah Rule conceded a penalty following a late tackle, fortunately the penalty was blasted over the bar, keeping the scores level. Kamsy Anajemba’s safe catch in the 42nd minute denied Bolton United a crucial opportunity to score. The home side then made further substitutions just before the 44th minute, with Brajan Staszkowicz, Oscar Manders, Yasin Mohammed, and Kai McCaughtrie all reintroduced, replacing Ayo ., Zac Leach, Andrew-Franz Nkemka, and Finley Barlow.

Brajan Staszkowicz was instrumental in defence, executing a vital tackle in the 46th minute to halt a Bolton attack. Kai McCaughtrie tested the opposition keeper again in the 47th minute, but his shot was saved. Nathen Platt had two attempts, one high in the 49th minute and another wide in the 53rd, both failing to trouble the goalkeeper. Tiki Taka Dortmund were finally starting to grow into the game and create some attacking opportunities. Kon Aney’s interception in the 50th minute prevented another Bolton chance, showcasing the home side’s defensive alertness.

Substitutions continued as Nikita Velicka, Zac Leach, and Archie Hunt returned to the field in the 54th minute, replacing Nathen Platt, Zac Humphries-Deveney, and Lawrence Nwakamma. Yasin Mohammed provided a through ball pass that created a chance for Sonic Leung, who's shot was saved in the 55th minute. The resulting clearance fell to Kai McCaughtrie who made no mistake in finding the net with a low shot. Scoring from inside the box with his right foot in the 57th minute to open the scoring.

Tiki Taka Dortmund then doubled their advantage in the 61st minute when Zac Leach unleashed a long-range right footed strike from outside the box. The ball flew past the Bolton keeper, putting the home side firmly in control. Zac Humphries-Deveney continued to press forward, with a saved attempt in the 64th minute, while Brajan Staszkowicz and Kon Aney made crucial tackles in the 64th and 66th minutes respectively to keep Bolton at bay.

Archie Hunt also contributed defensively with a vital headed clearance in the 68th minute. Kai McCaughtrie had a final attempt in the 70th minute that went wide, but by then the outcome was all but decided. The match concluded with Tiki Taka Dortmund securing a hard fought 2-0 victory, thanks to their second half determination, clinical finishing and solid defensive work from all the team.

Brajan Staszkowicz was named player of the match for both his outstanding defensive and offensive display, with some timely interventions that helped maintain a clean sheet for the team. This result will boost Tiki Taka Dortmund’s confidence as they continue their league campaign with a strong home performance against Bolton United F.C.
