RIT Dubai travelled to Amity University Campus on 30 October 2025 for a league away match kicking off at 9:30pm, where they emphatically defeated Amity Dubai 8-0 in a commanding display over 70 minutes plus added time. The visitors showcased their attacking prowess and defensive solidity in a comprehensive win that left Amity Dubai unable to respond.
RIT Dubai lined up in a 3-1-4-2 formation, deploying three defenders at the back with a single central midfielder shielding the defence. The defensive trio consisted of Khalifa Albedwawi at right defender, Mohsin Ayaz centrally, and Aws Dashash on the left. Mohamed Hazza operated as the lone central midfielder, tasked with breaking up play and distributing the ball forward. Ahead of him, four attacking midfielders were positioned: Artur Farhutdinov on the right, Mohamed Haitam Yousfi and Mohammad AlSayyed centrally as attacking midfielders, and Mohamed Boudrai on the left. Leading the line were two forwards, Masoud Barahoey on the right and Saeed Alhashemi on the left, expected to spearhead the attack and convert chances. The goalkeeper Yesa Aamir guarded the goal. The substitutes available were Abdelhamid Darweesh, Mohamed Chahine, Mohamed Saif, Mohamed Albawab, and Armaan Shafique.
From the first whistle, RIT Dubai imposed themselves on the game. Within the opening minute, Saeed Alhashemi opened the scoring with a stunning long-range strike from outside the box, expertly set up by a precise long pass from right defender Khalifa Albedwawi. This early goal set the tone for the match and put Amity Dubai on the back foot.
Just three minutes later, Mohsin Ayaz tested the opposition keeper with a high attempt, signalling RIT’s intent to keep pressing. However, the visitors’ rhythm was briefly interrupted when Mohamed Haitam Yousfi committed a foul in the fourth minute, a minor blip in an otherwise dominant start.
The relentless pressure paid off again in the sixth minute as Saeed Alhashemi doubled his tally with another long-range strike from outside the area, this time assisted by a short pass from Mohamed Haitam Yousfi. Yousfi himself had a high attempt moments later, showing his eagerness to contribute offensively.
Saeed Alhashemi completed his hat-trick in the ninth minute with a third spectacular goal from outside the box, assisted by a short pass from right attacking midfielder Artur Farhutdinov. The trio of early goals left Amity Dubai reeling and struggling to contain RIT’s fluid attacking movements.
Artur Farhutdinov then had a wide attempt in the 14th minute, demonstrating his involvement in the attacking play. Two minutes later, Mohamed Boudrai scored a brilliant solo goal, weaving through defenders before finishing with his right foot, assisted by Mohamed Haitam Yousfi’s short pass. This goal highlighted the creativity and skill in RIT’s midfield and attack.
Masoud Barahoey had a high attempt in the 17th minute, continuing the barrage of shots on goal. RIT’s dominance was further emphasised in the 18th minute when Artur Farhutdinov scored from outside the area with a right-footed strike following a long pass from left defender Aws Dashash. This goal showcased the full width of RIT’s attacking threat.
The visitors’ aggression led to a foul by Mohamed Boudrai in the 19th minute, and shortly after, Saeed Alhashemi received a yellow card for dissent at the 20th minute mark, a rare moment of frustration amid their commanding performance.
Mohamed Hazza attempted a wide shot in the 22nd minute, while Mohamed Haitam Yousfi was booked for a foul in the 23rd minute. Yousfi then had a saved attempt two minutes later, maintaining his active presence in the final third.
Masoud Barahoey was caught offside twice in quick succession at the 26th and 27th minutes, reflecting the high line and attacking intent of RIT Dubai. Saeed Alhashemi had a high attempt in the 29th minute before the half-time whistle blew at 35 minutes, with RIT Dubai firmly in control.
The second half saw continued dominance from RIT Dubai. Saeed Alhashemi committed a foul in the 38th minute, but the visitors’ attacking threat remained undiminished. Mohamed Boudrai hit the crossbar in the 41st minute and had another saved attempt a minute later, showing his persistence in seeking to add to the scoreline.
Shortly after the hour mark, Masoud Barahoey scored a close-range tap-in in the 47th minute, assisted by a cross from Artur Farhutdinov, extending the lead further. Two minutes later, Saeed Alhashemi added his fourth goal of the night with a right-footed finish following a flick assist from Masoud Barahoey, exemplifying the fluid teamwork on display.
Saeed Alhashemi then had a saved attempt in the 50th minute, followed by a high shot from Masoud Barahoey in the 51st. The game saw a flurry of substitutions at the 58th minute: Mohamed Saif replaced Mohamed Hazza, Mohamed Chahine came on for Aws Dashash, and Abdelhamid Darweesh replaced Saeed Alhashemi, signalling a shift to fresh legs while maintaining the attacking momentum.
Masoud Barahoey continued his scoring spree with a goal in the 60th minute, finishing with his left foot from a short pass by Mohamed Haitam Yousfi. This goal underlined Barahoey’s versatility and clinical finishing.
Further substitutions followed at the 65th minute, with Mohamed Albawab replacing Khalifa Albedwawi and Armaan Shafique coming on for Mohamed Haitam Yousfi, allowing RIT Dubai to manage their squad as the match approached its conclusion.
Goalkeeper Yesa Aamir made crucial saves late in the game, including a full stretch save in the 67th minute and a dive at the feet in the 69th, ensuring the clean sheet remained intact despite Amity Dubai’s rare attempts.
Mohamed Saif committed fouls in the 68th and 69th minutes, but these did little to disrupt RIT’s rhythm. Artur Farhutdinov had a wide attempt in the 70th minute, rounding off a match dominated by RIT Dubai’s attacking flair and defensive discipline.
