<p><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Objectives today were:<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />1/to apply some of the learnings from the external coaching received on Thursday<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />2/ ensure all players got a similar game time.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />On a frosty pitch for first 15 mins Panthers were the more composed<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />and the play was largely in Yateley final third. Yateley looked<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />dangerous on the break and they scored after latching onto some slow<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />play in defence, tackling and winning the foot race to score..second<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />15 mins defence was more secure but we lacked physicality in midfield<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />where Yateley were in control...there was some good wing play, but the<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />timing and angle of runs into box were not quite right..<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Second half the general play and passing tended to be too long, with<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Yateley backing off waiting to intercept the long passes. That is when<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />we need to note that space has opened up in front to play in. A<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />bizzare second goal for Yateley which seemed to go in straight from<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />the corner taker...Panthers had chances just before then including a<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />through ball to our striker that was onside, but unfortunately<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />linesman flagged for one of our players retreating back onside - such is the beauty of the offside rule..

<p><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />EHE avoided two tackles that were meant to prevent the<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />player from progressing, continuing into the box where he cleverly<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />played a pass across to GW to tap in...<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Panthers never really looked like equalising as the game fizzled out..<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />We didn't play particularly well today, but I thinks the boys enjoyed<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />the run out....<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Thoughts<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />1/ Many times we were second to the ball, tending to wait for the ball<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />to come to us rather than attack it.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />2/ One or two of the players were struggling with the physicality and<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />also pragmatic play of opposition. Long throws over the top of our<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />defenders that are not thinking enough about what could happen and we<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />had lapses of concentration.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />3/ Too many times we jumped in to tackle when we needed to stay on our<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />feet and direct the attacker.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />4/ players not played in their strongest positions. <br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />motm was EHE for taking onboard some of the coaching from Thursday<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />and unselfish assist for the goal.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Thank you to GE for linesman duties today, a very busy role today..
