<p>Final score hook panthers 3 v 0 mytchett eagles. Captain for the day was OK, goalscorers SR 2. Well done to RD and JF for goalkeeping duty.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />We started off in typical recent hook panthers style with a lack of defensive cover in the box and a lack of composure on the ball. Fortunately TH dropped back into defence to limit the problems.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />A nice pass from JC and a sublime finish from JR put us 1-0 up half time. Second half playing up the slope we seemed to play a lot more positive and scored two more goals. More tenacious and better shape the team countered really well and played a higher tempo game. A few times that final ball was not played which prevented further goals.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />JR- in amongst all the action from the beginning. JR best game this season<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />OK - tracked the opposition danger man and also played well in midfield.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />TH- excellent positional play and reading of the game today.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />JF- spectacular goalkeeping saves and some very assertive defending.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />ON - once again worked well up/down flank and the discipline to hold his position.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />SR - put in some super crosses and shots. Played well with the ball in front of him.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />JC- tenacious, putting opposition defenders under pressure. Very strong second half display causing problems for the opposition.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />RD - very good at reading and intercepting the opposition play into midfield. &nbsp;Don't get me started on the final pass......<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Really pleased with the commitment from the boys today. They worked so hard as a team.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Communication- I heard some lovely chatter of man on, kick it out, keepers etc.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px;" />Shape was good in second half. Three in defense worked better as it prevented team from being pulled out wide(credit to John R on this one). Plan is to get the wide 2 in defense to go forward, but for this game only ON had that freedom.
