<p>Change of formation today, switching to a previously used 4-3-3. No ted with a broken<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />finger and EH available for half a game, it was clear some players<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />were going to need to step up..<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" /><br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />It was a good first half, we were the better footballing team with the<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />opposition seeming to rely on their rather exceptional striker. Jets<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />play like hook, not a lot of football until final third, but very<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />competitive and organised.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />First half, defence was assured with really good organisation to cover<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />and hand off players. Plan was to get the ball wide ideally clipping<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />balls behind fullbacks and also play into striker sitting off the<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />defence. Did that well but lacked cutting edge, decisions need to be<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />made quicker and players need to see the triggers. Phantoms won the<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />midfield and looked their best when we switched play with minimum<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />touches.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />Second half no EH and midfield felt it slightly. As the second half<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />went on we got more and more hoofy which suited the Jets more than us.<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />Plenty of corners won but struggled to get ball in the box. Good<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />possession and territory but no cutting edge. Final score 0-0 as teams<br style="color: #222222; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;" />roundly booed off the pitch (joking)
