The match was a thrilling contest marked by attacking flair and tactical substitutions that kept the momentum firmly with the home side.

Newcastle Benfield Tardini lined up in a 2-3-1 formation, a setup designed to balance defensive solidity with midfield creativity and a lone striker spearheading the attack. In what could have been a tricky encounter with Sunday captain Freddie away being a NUFC Ultra, the lads were excellent. Manager Nick was also busy being an Ultra while Manager Ben serving a match suspension from the tournament final this allowed a fantastically named Karl and Carl due to support the team to victory.

In the end, Haltwhistle's 3 travelling fans in attendance went home disappointed as they exit the cup. However Benfield go marching on into the Semi Final.
