Mile Oak have been knocked out of the cup in the 2nd round to Eastbourne Borough Black from the league above.
The game started scrappy with no one wanting to take control and seeing alot of Sloppy passing. But it was Eastbourne who took the lead from a cross down the right hand side and Billy tried to clear but it ended up coming off his studs into his own net.
It didn't take long for Mile Oak to equalise with a perfectly timed run from Blake and through ball from Drew to find him and Blake slots home.
Charlie Stirling had the perfect chance to send Mile Oak through to the next round with 10 minutes to go after Finley broke down the right to deliver a low cross which found Charlie who connected with it but the keeper was there to stop it going in.
It finished 1 - 1 after 60 Minutes and stayed that way after extra time.
Penalties here we come.
Drew stepped up first to strike straight down the middle for the keeper to save, but that was cancelled out after Eastbourne sent theirs wide.
Next was Connor who again struck the ball down the middle but over the cross bar and Eastbourne took the opportunity this time and made it 0 - 1
Finley stepped up for the 3rd penalty and like the previous 2, straight down the middle and over the bar and for the 2nd time Eastbourne scored 0 - 2.
Charlie Stirling stepped up knowing he had to score and he tried slotting to the keepers left but the keeper got down to save and Eastbourne went through.
Mile Oak take on Oakwood away next hoping to forget about cup heartbreak and get back to winning ways.
