Mile Oak Football Club welcomed Chailey & Newick Colts U15 to Southwick Hill Recreation Ground on the morning of 14 September 2025 for an 11-a-side league fixture kicking off at 10:00am. The hosts produced a commanding performance to secure a comprehensive 7-0 victory in the 80-minute contest, leaving their opponents unable to respond.
Mile Oak lined up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, deploying Archie Gunn in goal behind a back four consisting of Pip Aspey at right back, Kingsley Roussel and Charlie Montgomery as central defenders, and Josh Boarer at left back. The midfield double pivot featured Will Newton and Stan Churchyard tasked with both defensive cover and initiating attacks. Ahead of them, Harrison Franklin-Lester occupied the right attacking midfield role, Tyler Mugridge played centrally behind the striker, and Isaac Samagh operated on the left flank. Leading the line was striker Tyler West, expected to spearhead the offensive efforts. The substitutes available were Charlie Morton, Olle Webb, and Alfie Brookes-Baker.

Mile Oak’s attacking threat remained relentless. Harrison Franklin-Lester added his name to the scoresheet in the 71st minute, showcasing his ability to contribute from midfield. Isaac Samagh completed his brace two minutes later, rounding off the scoring at 7-0.
Throughout the match, Charlie Montgomery stood out with a commanding presence in central defence, earning him the player of the match accolade. His composure and defensive organisation were key in keeping a clean sheet against the Chailey & Newick Colts’ forwards.
