Home league match
On 23 November 2025, Estrella U13-1 hosted RCA 1 at SV Estrella in a league home match kicking off promptly at 9:00am. The 60-minute contest, overseen by referee Johan Marquez, ended in a resounding 6-0 victory for RCA 1, leaving Estrella U13-1 searching for answers after a difficult morning on the pitch.
Estrella U13-1 set up in a traditional 4-4-2 formation, aiming for balance between defence and attack. Isaac Vijsma guarded the goal, flanked by a back four consisting of Samuel Becerra-Valor at right back, Wilson Just-Shue and Thiel Maxwell as central defenders, and Peter Gaviria-Mendoza on the left. The midfield line featured Aalrick Koolman on the right wing, Kock Maeyson and Lindomar jr Kock centrally, and Kock Jayden on the left. Up front, Raizell Howell operated as the right forward with Jayrold Matos partnering him on the left. The substitutes available were Nathanaël Croes, Rodriguez Iszair, Ilay Howell, Julius Croes, and Daniel de-la-Cruz-Diaz.
From the outset, Estrella’s goalkeeper Isaac Vijsma was kept busy, making an early catch in the first minute and following it up with a punch clear at five minutes. Another catch at seven minutes showed his alertness, but despite his efforts, RCA 1 opened the scoring at the ninth minute, setting the tone for the match.
Vijsma continued to be a key figure, securing another catch at 11 minutes and again at 16 minutes, but RCA 1 doubled their lead by the 18th minute. Estrella’s defence tried to respond, with Thiel Maxwell clearing danger at 19 minutes, and Kock Maeyson making a crucial clearance at 22 minutes to prevent a chance. Wilson Just-Shue also cleared a threatening opportunity at 23 minutes, showing some resilience at the back.
The goalkeeper was called into action again at 25 minutes with a safe catch, but Estrella’s defensive discipline was tested further when Peter Gaviria-Mendoza received a yellow card at 27 minutes for a bad tackle. Despite this, Kock Maeyson cleared another chance at the same minute, and Vijsma made yet another catch to keep the scoreline from worsening before half time.
The first half concluded at 30 minutes, and Estrella made a tactical substitution immediately after the break, bringing on Nathanaël Croes for Kock Jayden on the left midfield. However, RCA 1 extended their lead with a penalty goal at 33 minutes, further denting Estrella’s hopes of a comeback.
RCA 1’s dominance continued as they scored again at 37 minutes. Vijsma remained alert with a catch at 38 minutes, but Estrella’s backline was reshuffled with another tactical change at 41 minutes, replacing right defender Samuel Becerra-Valor with Rodriguez Iszair.
The visitors struck once more at the 50th minute, prompting Estrella to make a flurry of substitutions at 51 minutes. Ilay Howell replaced left forward Jayrold Matos, while Julius Croes came on for left defender Peter Gaviria-Mendoza. Another tactical switch followed at 55 minutes with Daniel de-la-Cruz-Diaz coming on for right midfielder Aalrick Koolman.
Despite these changes, Estrella’s midfield, led by Lindomar jr Kock, continued to battle, making a defensive intervention at 56 minutes. Yet RCA 1 sealed their emphatic victory with a sixth goal at 58 minutes, leaving Estrella U13-1 unable to respond.
The match was a tough lesson for Estrella U13-1, who struggled to contain RCA 1’s attacking threat throughout. While Vijsma’s goalkeeping efforts were commendable, the defensive lapses and inability to convert possession into goals ultimately defined the outcome. The tactical substitutions in the second half showed intent to alter the game’s momentum, but RCA 1’s clinical finishing ensured they left SV Estrella with all three points.
