In a commanding display, Carbrain Clarets 2011's triumphed over Helix Thistle 2011 with a resounding 4-0 victory in their league encounter at King George Playing Fields, Falkirk, on 6th September 2025. The match kicked off at 7:30am and showcased the Clarets' attacking prowess and solid defensive organisation throughout the 80 minutes of play.

The Clarets lined up in a 3-5-2 formation, designed to maximise both defensive stability and attacking width. Archie Edgar occupied the goalkeeping position, shielded by a trio of defenders: Ryan Cherry on the right, Zack Graham in the centre, and Daniel Abdulrahman on the left. The midfield was packed with creativity and energy, featuring Luka Alexander on the right, Kai Logan, Tyler Scott, and Noah Webb in central roles, and Kobe Stevenson on the left. Up front, Fergus Davies and Ciar McKlusky formed a dynamic partnership, tasked with converting chances into goals. The substitutes for the match included Liam McGuire, Connor McMahon, and Robert Byrne.

The opening goal came in the 25th minute, when Kai Logan found the net after a well-executed team move, assisted by Fergus Davies with a precise short pass. Logan's right-footed finish from inside the box set the tone for the Clarets, who were clearly in control of the match.

Just eleven minutes later, in the 36th minute, Daniel Abdulrahman doubled the lead with a spectacular strike from outside the box. His right-footed effort was a true screamer, leaving the Helix Thistle goalkeeper with no chance and sending the Clarets into half-time with a comfortable 2-0 advantage.

As the second half commenced, tactical substitutions were made by the Clarets, with Liam McGuire replacing Luka Alexander, Connor McMahon coming on for Kai Logan, and Robert Byrne taking the place of Zack Graham, all in the 40th minute. These changes aimed to maintain the momentum and freshen up the midfield and defence as the Clarets sought to extend their lead.

The Clarets continued to apply pressure, and their efforts bore fruit in the 60th minute when Liam McGuire scored from close range, converting a chance inside the box with his right foot. This goal further solidified their dominance, making it 3-0 and leaving Helix Thistle struggling to respond.

In the 70th minute, Fergus Davies added his name to the scoresheet, netting another close-range effort with his right foot. This goal capped off a fine performance from Davies, who had already provided an assist earlier in the match, and showcased the Clarets' clinical finishing.

As the final whistle blew, the Carbrain Clarets 2011's celebrated a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Helix Thistle 2011. The result not only highlighted their attacking capabilities but also demonstrated their defensive resilience, leaving them in high spirits as they look forward to their next challenge in the league.
