On 15 November 2025, Carbrain Clarets 2011's welcomed Cumbernauld Colts to Oak Road 3G for a league fixture kicking off at 10:30pm. The Clarets produced a commanding display to secure a resounding 6-1 victory over their visitors in an 80-minute contest.

Carbrain Clarets 2011's lined up in a 4-4-1-1 formation, deploying Archie Edgar in goal to marshal the defence. The back four consisted of Ryan Cherry at right back, Zack Graham and Evan Breen as central defenders, with Ryan Griffin operating on the left. The midfield quartet featured Tyler Scott on the right wing, central midfielders Kai Logan and Daniel Abdulrahman, and Kobe Stevenson on the left flank. Just behind the lone striker Fergus Davies, Ciar McCloskey took up the attacking midfielder role, tasked with linking midfield and attack. The substitutes named were Ruadh, Connor, Matthew and Luka

The Clarets started brightly and took the lead in the 10th minute through Kobe Stevenson, who finished off a well-worked team move. Fergus Davies played a crucial role by delivering a precise long pass to Stevenson, who capitalised expertly. The early goal set the tone for the Clarets’ dominance.

Cumbernauld Colts responded and managed to find the net themselves in the 34th minute, pulling a goal back to make it 1-1. Tyler Scott scored from close range inside the box, expertly converting a fantastic cross from the left wing by Kobe Stevenson with his right foot.

As the first half neared its conclusion, tactical changes were made by the Clarets at the 40th minute mark. Connor replaced Ryan Griffin, while Matthew Malone came on for Daniel sparked a couple of position changes . These substitutions appeared designed to maintain the team’s momentum heading into the 2nd half with the scores remaining 2-1 clarets at HT.

The second half began with immediate impact as Kai Logan converted a penalty in the 46th minute, firing home with his right foot following an assist from Ciar who won the penalty. This goal extended the Clarets’ lead and reasserted their control over the match.

The Clarets continued to press forward and in the 55th minute, Ciar McCloskey doubled his personal tally. He finished off a short pass from Fergus Davies inside the box with a precise right-footed strike, further stretching the lead to 4-1.

Kai Logan was again on the scoresheet in the 72nd minute, capitalising on a defensive error by the Colts to slot home another right-footed finish. This goal underlined the Clarets’ clinical nature and punished the visitors’ lapses at the back.

The scoring was completed in the 76th minute when Hat-trick hero Ciar McCloskey netted his second of the half and third overall ??????. Receiving a long pass from Kai Logan, McCloskey embarked on a solo run before finishing from close range, sealing a comprehensive 6-1 victory for Carbrain Clarets 2011's.

This dominant performance showcased the Clarets’ attacking prowess and tactical flexibility, with key contributions from Stevenson, Logan, McCloskey, and Davies.
