<p>Dear dear. Reays are in a right pickle these days. The declared they were short on Tuesday, only having four or five accepted, so Jacko sounded the Fosters alert, Ilyas bought his flat mate and cousin Andy bought one of his buddies. On the night Reays turned up with 1, which is exceptionally poor by anyone's standards. Fair play to the one, Rob, the guy who organises the Reays team, for actually turning up on his jack. Fair play also to Stu for convincing four lads who had played 5 a side earlier to join our game. They were all excellent players too. Hoff Jnr, Jackson Flash and Sheedy joined the Reays / Fosters / Ringer alliance and we finally had a game on.
<p>It ended up 1 - 0 to BOC, with Latch scoring past Sheedy. Stu felt it may have been an oggy, but the stats reflect Latch scoring with an assist from me.
<p>The scoreline totally flattered BOC. How the Reayfostringers didn't score is a mystery. Not a lot to note from the game really. Phil had hard work keeping up with ringer Hayden in midfield, which was strange because Hayden didnt really move very much.
<p>A nice game in the end, and good evening to follow in the frozen waste of the Latchmere terrace. The cold beer was actually warming.
