VHSL

The Virginia High School League (VHSL) is the principal sanctioning organization for interscholastic athletic competition among public high schools in Virginia.

The VHSL was founded in 1913 and currently has over 250 member schools. It sponsors championships in 27 sports, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, and track and field.

The VHSL is governed by a board of directors, which is composed of representatives from each of the member schools. The board is responsible for setting policies and procedures for the league, as well as selecting the sites for championship events.
