Thursday League

The Thursday League is an amateur football league in the United Kingdom. It is played on Thursday evenings, hence the name. The league is open to all levels of players, from beginners to experienced.

The Thursday League was founded in 1975 by a group of friends who wanted to play football more often than just on weekends. The league started with just a few teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams competing in it.

The Thursday League is divided into a number of divisions, each with its own set of rules and regulations. The teams in each division play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
