The Haslem - Sheppard Halifax & District AFL is an amateur football league based in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1903 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its various divisions.
The league was founded in 1903 as the Halifax & District Amateur Football League. It was renamed the Haslem - Sheppard Halifax & District AFL in 1989 in honor of two of its longest-serving presidents, Arthur Haslem and Jack Sheppard.
The league has been home to a number of successful teams over the years, including Halifax Town, who won the FA Trophy in 1986.
