Telford Junior League

The Telford Junior Football League serves as a cornerstone for youth football development in and around Telford, providing organized competitive opportunities for children aged 7 to 16 years old. The league facilitates essential football experiences that help young players develop skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating a supportive community environment for both players and families. While currently operating with age groups from 7 to 12 in formal competition, the broader youth football structure in Telford extends opportunities for teens up to 16 years old.

As the 2024-2025 season progresses, the league continues its commitment to youth development through regular match scheduling, tournaments, and special events including their anticipated cup finals in May 2025. The Telford Junior League has deep roots in Shropshire's grassroots football community. Originally established as the Ironbridge Junior League, it later evolved into what is now known as the Telford Junior League, as indicated by historical records from Hadley Juniors Football Club.
