The South Shields Sunday Football League is an amateur football league based in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England. It was founded in 1922 and is affiliated to the Durham FA. The league currently has two divisions, the Premier Division and the A Division.

The South Shields Sunday Football League was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just six teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 30 teams in two divisions.

The league has been home to some famous players over the years, including former England internationals Peter Beardsley and Kevin Keegan. Beardsley played for Boldon Colliery Welfare in the league in the early 1970s, while Keegan played for South Shields Juniors in the late 1960s.
