2026-27 - 22 Teams across 3 Divisions
The South Manchester and Cheshire Christian Football League is an adult Saturday competition for teams connected with churches and Christian communities. It covers Greater Manchester, parts of Cheshire and south-east Lancashire, with current clubs linked to places including Bolton, Chester, Macclesfield, Manchester and Trafford.
The league was formed in 1999 and is affiliated with Manchester FA. Its club names reflect a mix of church, parish, Baptist and community teams; examples are included to show the competition’s regional scope rather than an exhaustive membership list.
The current programme is organised across three divisions and includes cup football. Regular fixtures are played on Saturdays, usually in the morning, at club and community venues across the area.
Players interested in joining should contact a current club directly, as teams set their own recruitment arrangements. The league’s Full-Time site provides live fixtures, results, tables and current team allocations.
FA Full-Time provides current South Manchester and Cheshire Christian Football League information.
