South-East England Schools' FA

The association sits within the wider English Schools’ Football Association landscape. ESFA is the national governing body for schools and college football, while county schools’ associations organise their own activity and send representative teams into regional competition.

Regional representative competition

Current and recent county-school sources place teams from Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Middlesex and Inner London in SEESFA competition. The exact entry list and age sections can vary by season, but the competition provides a regional stage for county representative sides after local and county selection.

Schools football is distinct from an open club league: players take part through their school, district or county schools association. That makes the relevant county schools’ FA the practical first point of contact for pupils, schools and teachers looking for representative routes or local competitions.
