The Surrey County Women's and Girls' Football League (SCWGL) is an amateur football league for women and girls in Surrey, England. It was founded in 1992 and currently has over 100 clubs and 1,000 teams. The league is divided into four divisions: Premier, Division One, Division Two, and Division Three.
The SCWGL was founded in 1992 by a group of women who wanted to provide more opportunities for women and girls to play football in Surrey. The league started with just 12 clubs and 100 teams, but it has grown steadily over the years. In 2023, the league has over 100 clubs and 1,000 teams.
The SCWGL has been successful in promoting women's and girls' football in Surrey. The league has produced a number of talented players who have gone on to play at the highest levels, including England internationals Karen Carney and Rachel Yankey.
