The San Diego Development Academy (SD DA) is an amateur football league for boys and girls in the San Diego area. It is a partnership between U.S. Soccer and the top youth clubs in the region, and it is designed to provide the best youth players in the area with an environment to develop and compete at the highest level.

The SD DA was founded in 2012, and it has since become one of the premier youth soccer development programs in the United States. The Academy has produced a number of players who have gone on to play professionally, including Cade Cowell of the San Jose Earthquakes and Alex Mendez of Club Brugge.

The SD DA is divided into four age groups: U-12, U-13, U-14, and U-15/16. Each age group has a fall and spring season, and each season consists of a league schedule and a playoff tournament. The Academy also offers a winter training program for players in the U-13 and U-14 age groups.
