The Russell Foster League is an amateur football league in the North East of England. It was founded in 1968 and currently has over 200 clubs affiliated to it. The league runs competitions for boys and girls of all ages, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The league is named after Russell Foster, a local businessman who was a keen supporter of youth football. The league's headquarters are located at the Russell Foster Football Centre in Houghton-le-Spring, Tyne and Wear.
The league's matches are played at a variety of venues across the North East of England. The majority of matches are played on 3G artificial pitches, but there are also a number of matches played on grass pitches.
