The North West Counties Football League (NWCFL) is an English football league covering the North West of England. It is currently at Step 5 of the National League System, the ninth tier of the English football league system.

The league was founded in 1982 as the North West Counties League, and was renamed to its current name in 1998. It is currently divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Division One North, and Division One South.

The NWCFL was founded in 1982 as the North West Counties League, with 22 teams. The league was expanded to 24 teams in 1983, and to 26 teams in 1984.
