The Norwich Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Norwich, England. It was founded in 1921 and currently consists of 75 clubs playing in 4 divisions.

The league is affiliated to the Norfolk County Football Association and is a member of the Eastern Counties Football League.

History

The Norwich Sunday League was founded in 1921 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season consisted of just 10 clubs, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 70 clubs.

The league has been won by a variety of clubs over the years, with Acle Rangers being the most successful team, having won the title 13 times.

Divisions

The Norwich Sunday League currently consists of 4 divisions:

• Premier Division
• Division 1
• Division 2
• Division 3

The Premier Division is the top division in the league and is contested by the best clubs in the area.

Division 1 is the second tier of the league and is followed by Division 2 and Division 3.
