north east wales championship

The North East Wales Championship is an amateur football league in North East Wales, Wales. It is the fourth and fifth tier of the Welsh football league system. The league was established in 2020 as a successor to the North East Wales League.

The current season is the 2022-23 season. The Championship Division is currently led by Acton FC, with Overton Recreational FC in second place and CPD Gronant in third place. The Veterans Championship Division is currently led by Llay Welfare FC, with Denbigh Town FC in second place and Buckley Town FC in third place.
