Read more →The Nidderdale Friendly League is an amateur football league based in the Nidderdale area of North Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1894 and currently has teams competing in age groups from Under-7s to Under-18s.
The Nidderdale Friendly League was founded in 1894 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season of the league saw six teams competing: Dacre Banks, Hampsthwaite, Birstwith, Glasshouses, Pateley Bridge and Ripley.
The league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 30 teams competing. The current champions are the Hampsthwaite & Birstwith Juniors Under-11s.
