Lilleshall Pitch Invasion

A pitch invasion occurred at a football match between Lilleshall United and Market Drayton Town on Saturday, 12 February 2023.

The invasion took place in the 89th minute of the match, when Lilleshall United were leading 2-1. A group of Lilleshall United supporters ran onto the pitch and surrounded the referee, protesting against a decision he had made earlier in the match.

The referee was forced to abandon the match, and the Football Association is now investigating the incident.
