Ligue des Pays de la Loire

The Ligue des Pays de la Loire (LPL) is a football league in the Pays de la Loire region of France. It is the fifth tier of the French football league system, below the Championnat National 3, the Régional 1, the Régional 2, and the Régional 3.

The LPL was founded in 1987 and currently consists of 14 teams. The teams are divided into two groups of seven, with each team playing each other twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each group at the end of the season are promoted to the Championnat National 3, while the bottom two teams in each group are relegated to the Régional 1.
