The Greater Glasgow Premier AFL is one of the largest amateur football leagues in Scotland, with over 100 teams competing in 11 divisions. The league was founded in 1972 and is affiliated with the Scottish Amateur Football Association (SAFA).

The Glasgow & District Sunday Football Championship is another popular amateur football league in Glasgow. The league was founded in 2008 and currently has 52 teams competing in four divisions.
