About East Midlands Womens Regional Football League
Women’s regional football in the East Midlands
The East Midlands Women’s Regional Football League is one of the eight regional leagues in the Women’s Football Pyramid. The FA identifies the regional leagues as operating at Tiers 5 and 6, placing this competition between the national and county levels of the women’s game.

The league covers the East Midlands, with current clubs from Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire. Its structure includes a Premier Division and Division One sections serving the north, central and south of the region.
Regional club competition
Current teams include first teams, development sides and university teams. Those types of club participate within the same regional programme, while club allocations and divisional placement can change from one season to the next.
