The Dumfries and Galloway Amateur Football League (DGYFDA) is an amateur football league for children and young people in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. The DGYFDA was founded in 1972 and currently has over 600 players registered. The league offers a range of age groups, from under-7s to under-18s.
The DGYFDA season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other once in the league. The top two teams at the end of the season qualify for the promotion play-offs, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.
The DGYFDA has a number of cup competitions, including the Junior Cup, the Shield, and the Challenge Cup. The Junior Cup is the most prestigious cup competition in the league, and is open to all teams in the league. The Shield is a knockout competition for the second-placed teams in each division, and the Challenge Cup is a knockout competition for the third-placed teams in each division.
