Read more →The Derby City Football League (DCPL) is an amateur football league in Derby, England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The DCPL was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season consisted of just four teams, but the league quickly grew in popularity and now has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The DCPL has played a significant role in the development of football in Derby. Many former DCPL players have gone on to play professional football, including former Derby County players Kevin Davies and Chris Sutton.
