Colchester Sunday League

The Colchester & District Sunday League is an amateur football league in Colchester, Essex, England. It was founded in 1922 and currently has over 100 teams competing in 11 divisions. The league is affiliated to the Essex County Football Association.

The Colchester & District Sunday League was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season consisted of just 4 teams, but the league quickly grew in popularity and now has over 100 teams competing.

The league has been home to some of the best amateur footballers in Essex over the years, including former England internationals Paul Scholes and David Beckham.
