Read more →The Catforth Summer League is an amateur football league based in the Catforth area of Preston, Lancashire. The league was founded in 1922 and is affiliated to the Lancashire FA.
The Catforth Summer League was founded in 1922 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league started with just six teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has over 20 teams competing in two divisions.
The league has been won by a number of different teams over the years, but the most successful team is Myerscough FC, who have won the league a record 13 times.
