About Zim Stars FC Ft

<p>Beaconsfield Arms was formed from a group of Zimbabweans living mainly in High Wycombe and Aylesbury who had the love of football. They started by playing friendly games from teams from different areas such as Southend on sea, Luton, Enfield, Stevenage, Miltone keynes and London.</p> <p>After a year of playing friendlies and Tounerments the boys got together and joined division 4 sunday league. This brought excitment to the team as this guarante the team games each and every week.</p> <p>The team got uniform donation from the pub Beaconsfild arms, hence the name.</p> <p>In the league the team struggled as they failed to get results mainly because of lack of team leadership. There was a point when the boys' friendship was threatened because of tensions during and after the games. The players were blaming each other for loses and other player were refusing to be substituted.</p> <p>Apart from all this the teams that we played with kept on asking why we were rooted at the bottom of the league yet we played good footy. I dont even know why myself.</p>
