About Westercommon Star

Formed in 2009 Westercommon Star entered the GDSFC division 2 with only three players and got the core of the team within three months to start that season we went on to win a cup and finish second in the league gaining promotion to the GDSFC The following season we grew in strenth bringing in more new players but as we got better we realized we needed a proper manager and in come Paul King and Martin O'Brian to see us over the line to become league cup winners as well as GDSFC Champions winning the league in the last game of the season winner take all 1st vs second Season 2012/2013 we joined the Sunday central finishing fourth in our first season in a very strong league that had Trebbal 2 Queens Park Spiders and Milton of colquhoun
