Roundbush were formed in 1994 as Post Office Counters FC before changing names at the start of the 1997-98 season. Playing in the bottom Division, Two, they had a decent first season finishing in fourth place out of ten teams, and this was enough to gain them promotion to Division One for the following season and for the following six seasons the side maintained its Division One status, although struggling towards the bottom of the table each season, never finishing higher than third from bottom. In 2001-02 season they finally found themselves back in Division Two finishing in a mid-table position, a position that were to occupy for the following two seasons, never struggling near the bottom of the table but never putting together a serious challenge at the top end. At the start of the 2004-05 season because of an influx of new teams most of the previous season’s Division Two seasons formed the basis of Division One and once they finished in a mid-table position. They slipped down the following season to second bottom avoiding bottom place by just two points, and the 2006-07 season saw an improvement with the clubs highest ever finish in sixth place and was followed up by a slightly lower finish a year later in eight place, although they did amass their highest points total of twenty six. It was followed by a step back in 2008-09 season when they just avoided bottom place by a single point, and then another slight improvement with a seventh place finish in 2009-10. The following two seasons saw serious struggles winning just seven league games out of forty four played over the 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons. For the 2011-12 season, the club ran a reserve team which was only to a last for a single season as they finished second bottom of Division Two. The next three seasons proved to be a total disaster, with a team made up of mostly veteran players they struggled badly winning only four league games over the course of these three campaigns, indeed they failed to win a single league game during the 2013-14 season, the only two points coming from two draws. In the summer of 2014 the club appointed former Bushey Olympians Manager Graham Jackson as Manager and despite finishing second bottom of the table he was able to start a rebuilding process. This current campaign has been the clubs most successful to date helped by bringing in several new players which has helped reaching today’s Final, as well what looks to be a decent placed finish in Division One.
