About Marden Minors Saturday

<p>Marden Minors Saturdays where elected into, The Maidstone & district Saturday league in June 2011.Marden have had a football side playing in Maidstone & district league since 1920. Marden Mens last played in the league 2006-2007 season.In our first season 2011-12, we finished Divison Two runners up behind Headcorn reserves, who we went onto beat in the Aford awards benevolent cup final B on the 2/5/12 at 7:30pm at Chatham Town football ground. Despite the promise, our second season 2012-13 a mid table finish in divison one was disappointing. In the cup's we faired better narrowly losing 3-2 to sutton saints in the Butchers removal group a on 4/4/13 7:30pm at chatham town football ground. In the Aford awards cup we where beaten 1-2 to Leeds SV in the semin final who won the final 5-1 against Kingshill.we hope that season 2013-14 will be even more sucessfull.</p>
