About Liverpool Feds Ladies FC 1st

Liverpool Feds was established in 1990 . It started as University based team at Liverpool Hope. In 1991 we had aswell as College football we started a team in the North West Womens league Div 4 . We grew in success and won through the divisions in success years to the 1st ( now premier division) .In 2009 we were promoted again to the Northern Combination League. In 1994 a junior section was started. This was just a recreational session to start with, but then teams were established to play in the Merseyside Girls league. We have won many league and cup titles across the age groups in the 18 years of the junior Feds. The club has expanded in the past year to include a boys section with 6 teams in it too. At present, the Women’s club has both junior and senior teams. The junior section of the club consists of Under 7’s teams to under 16’s age teams. Under 10’s, 12’s, 14’s and 16’s play in the Liverpool County FA Girls League. The under 7’s and under 8’s are entered into age appropriate tournaments and in addition there is an age 5-6 year olds development programme. All teams have at least one training session per week. There are approximately 90 players across the junior age groups. The teams have been very successful winning many leagues and tournaments over the years. Players from Liverpool Feds have gone on to represent their Country at junior and senior level. The adult section of the club consists of both a first team and a reserve team who play in the Premier division and First division of the North West Women’s Regional Football League. At present there are approximately 40 players signed on in the adult section. They train twice a week and play their games on a Sunday afternoon. We also have a third team who will play in the Women’s Liverpool County League. This sees the senior players total to approximately 50 players. In the past both senior teams have had various successes in both league and cup competitions.
