About East Court FC

East Court FC play in division 7 of the Mid Sussex Football League. The team was officially formed in 2002 but many of the players have been together since they started secondary school in 1992. Before and after school as well as lunchtimes and free periods in the sixth form the players could be found on the top playground of Sackville Community College, East Grinstead, enjoying a game. Over the years players have come and gone but the core members of the club are still together. After leaving Sackville many of the players went to university but the club met up during the holidays to play at East Court - hence our name. Since players finished university (although some are still working for their degrees) the club decided to join a league and were accepted into the Mid Sussex Football League in May 2002. Home matches take place at Imberhorne School while the club train at Mount Noddy in the winter and East Court in the summer.
