About Coronation Star

<p>Coronation Star were formed in 2016 by current manager Chris Fleet, with the assistance of David Walker. The first league they are participating in is the Solihull and District Oakbourne league. Following in his dad's footsteps, Chris wanted to set up a team to be successful. In their first season in the Solihull and District Oakbourne Division 3, Coronation Star (formerly AFC Coronation) convincingly won the league title whilst maintaining a 100% league record. Their cup performance was not so good however, with them being knocked out of their divisional trophy vs Norton Athletic Youngstars in the first round, and out of the Presidents trophy by Prem side Linden. As a result of finishing the league season with a 100% league record and winning the league convincingly, Chris Fleet won Manager of the Year for Divison 3. </p>
