The game got underway with the worst possible Start, 2 mistakes after 7 minutes and we found ourselves 2-0 down.
2-0.

Athletic were all over the place to be fair and chances were not coming as often as predicted. With Milford’s tails up they were on another attack, the ball eventually coming down the left back who smashed a strike into the top corner.

3-0

Half time was fast approaching and any attack we had had was well saved by the keeper. But with a little bit of luck we managed to pull one back. The ref didn’t look at the linesman who had given a throw in, Oli Leslie passed the ball to Scott Norton who crossed for Barker to tap in.

3-1

Athletic changed formation to 442 but the second half started worse than the first. In the 46th Minute we were picking the ball out of the net again.

4-1

The game seemed to be very flat for the next 15 minutes or so and a change was required. On came Jake Humberstone for his first appearance of the season. This paid off almost immediately. Aaron Welsh crossing for Scott to head in from close range.

4-2

After another cross only a minute later Yeadon were back in it, the same ball from Aaron let in Scott to power home his 2nd of the day and 5th of the season.

4-3

Including the kitchen sink we threw everything at them, but any opportunity we had was either wasted shooting from distance or very well saved by the keeper.

The game finished with 7 minutes of extra time but there was no equaliser.
