The pitch and weather were perfect conditions for the beautiful game.

Bilbrook kicked of and within seconds Cassies had squeezed play and got possession of the ball this followed by 3 good chances which produced good saves from the Bilbrook keeper, it was on the 4th minute that the goals started when a poorly cleared corner fell to Macalla who struck a venomous shot from the edge of the box in to the Bilbrook net 0-1.

The good pressure continued and a ball from joe found Shinna on the left hand side Shinna played a ball to jospin who rounded the Bilbrook keeper and slotted home for his first goal this season, and the goals kept coming as Sam notched on 9 minutes 0-3

On ten minutes it was four as Neo sprung the offside trap and finished with a cheeky little chip over the approaching Bilbrook goal keeper.

On 13 minutes Bilbrook pressured well causing a goal line scramble and causing Alex to produce a couple of good saves. The next 10-15 minutes were all about Bilbrook and in this time they took advantage of the Cassies lack lustre display and scored 2 goals in quick succession.

On 28 minutes a great run and finish from Sam put Cassies 2-5 up. Would this settle our nerves? The simple answer was no a combination of Bilbrooks good passing and Cassies poor marking resulted in the home team scoring two more goals before half time.

Half-Time

Bilbrook 4-5 Casuals

Second Half

The Cassies started off on the front foot and in less than 30 seconds Shinna had rounded the keeper and put the ball in the back of the net. What a great start! On the 8th minute a long range effort from Painy rattled the Bilbrook crossbar and just a minute later a square ball from Shinna dropped to George on the edge of the box and George made no mistake in drilling the ball home 4-7.

Shinna was on the score sheet again in the 16th minute with a near identical goal with him rounding the keeper. The scoring finished in the last minute of the game when a through ball from Neo found westy who made no mistake in finding the back of the net. The match finished 4-9 and was I great display of the way we can play football lets keep it up lads.

Man of the match went to Sam who had a terrific game.
